Japanese Knotweed Warning Sign
Japanese Knotweed Warning Sign
The images
accompanying this post are of Japanese Knotweed an invasive plant that is
currently widespread in Ireland. If you have Japanese Knotweed on your property
you need to erect a sign warning passersby not to interfere with it. Even a
passerby just breaking the stem can aid in spreading its highly pernicious rhizomes
on your property.
If left
untreated Japanese Knotweed will destroy pastureland, and undermine buildings, roadways,
and other structures on your property.
The only way to effectively combat a Japanese Knotweed invasion is by treating it with suitable herbicides over a number of years. Cutting it will only further spread the rhizomes and the cut plant itself will regenerate as the roots can take hold up to 2 meters underground.
You can select from a full range of materials and sizes to find the right fit and price point for your requirements including:
· 3mm Dibond Aluminium
· 5.5mm Corriboard
· 3mm Corriboard
· Foam PVC
· Vinyl
All our signage comes fully laminated to ensure that it has longevity and holds up to weathering. We do however offer an non-laminate corriboard for cheaper temporary signage.
For long lasting outdoor and industrial signage we recommend 3mm Dibond Aluminium with a fully laminated finish.
